Civil PROJECT Engineer – Morgantown, WV

Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC (D&H) is currently seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our growing engineering design team in our Morgantown, WV office. The qualified individual will work within our design team to generate construction and permit plans for our energy, land development and state and local government clients.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work within a project team to generate construction and permit plans for energy, transportation and land development clients.
  • Act as a design lead on the development of plans, permit packages, specifications and reports as assigned by the project manager.
  • Provide technical assistance in the resolution of design problem that may include: performing field investigations or inspections, detailed design work and/or design computations. 
  • Mentor and train members of design team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in civil engineering design, experience with oil & gas or site civil development preferred.
  • Experience using design software such as: AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/ InRoads, HydroCAD, TR-55, TR-20, HEC and other applicable design software commonly used.
  • Familiar with local municipality standards is a plus.
  • Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer preferred.
