Construction Inspector – Morgantown, WV
Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC (D&H) is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in Morgantown, WV. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to be an integral part of a group of professionals that provides superior engineering, environmental, surveying, and construction services to the energy, transportation and land development industries.
Job Description:
The Construction Inspector is a full-time position that will have project assignments in the field. As a Construction Inspector you will be responsible for monitoring heavy construction sites to ensure the contractor remains compliant with the plans and specifications for the client, monitor compliance and erosion and control measures, record material quantities and document project activities with daily reports and photos as well as perform material sampling and compaction testing.
Qualifications:
– Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.
-1 – 2 years’ experience with earthwork construction.
-1 year of PCSM monitoring experience.
-Willing to work overtime and weekends.
-Experience with compaction testing a plus, but not preferred.
-Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a motor vehicle report, drug and alcohol screening and background screening.
